Six fun-packed days of adventure, experiencing everything the Highlands can give you - a relaxed pace, loads of inspiring sightseeing, history, tales and Scottish legends, and all the highlights you dream of - Loch Ness, magical Skye, Loch Lomond, St Andrews, the Grampian and Cuillin mountains and great Ben Nevis, castles, battlefields, "Braveheart" and "Highlander", mystical stone circles, witches, faeries and at least one Monster!

Leaving Edinburgh, we head up into the Kingdom of Fife and journey along the spectacular East coastline. We'll stop for some breath-taking walks and discover how the novel "Robinson Crusoe" was inspired. Then we stop in the village of Pittenween to visit the mysterious caves there - some tales will be told! After stopping for lunch it's over to the ancient religious capital of St. Andrews - a beautiful historic University town. Then we head inland through Perthshire to witness the remnants of the Pictish tribes before arriving at the quaint town of Crieff - our home for the night.

Today we will make our way over to the to the West coast traveling alongside Loch Tay stopping, at the GlenTurret Distillery and the Falls of Dochart. As we go further west we'll stop at the rugged Kilchurn Castle situated in Loch Awe with a look around the sensational architecture of St Conans Kirk. We then head to Oban, the Gateway to the Isles, where we'll stop for the night.

We set off along the Argyle coastline (the ancient kingdom of Dalriada) - visit the mysterious Standing Stones of Kilmartin Glen and climb to the top of Dunadd Fort to find out how a nation was defined. More beautiful scenery as we wind our way to Loch Fyne - taste a fresh oyster! - and through Glen Croy to famous Loch Lomond. Depending on the weather we'll walk or do a boat trip on the beautiful waters while you all sing "You take the High Road…". Then it's a short hop to Stirling where we sleep in the shadow of Scotland's heroes, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.

We start today at 10am winding our way up into the magical Highlands - we will get to magnificent Glencoe for lunchtime (hear the tragic tale of the MacDonald's Massacre) before heading through some spectacular north west coast scenery - lots of time off the bus for short walks and story telling! - Our destination for tonight is the Isle of Skye
A full and active day round the Isle of Skye, with lots of walks and time to take in the magic. You'll see the Cuillin Mountains, the Old Man of Storr (an incredible Jurassic pillar) and hear some amazing legends, visit the fascinating Kilt Rock, and take in absolutely awe-inspiring panoramas in the Quirang. Perfect preparation for a few wee drams in the pub to reflect on a day of tales and legends.
Culloden Battlefield

Our first stop is a visit to Eilean Donan Castle (where Highlander was filmed) before doing some monster hunting at Loch Ness! Then lunch and an emotional visit to tragic Culloden battlefield (Bonnie Prince Charlie's last stand). Our final stop (time allowing) is a gentle walk through the beautiful Hermitage Forest. Finally, home to Edinburgh, tired and happy honorary Scots!!
